I am writing this letter of Great Thanks to Julia Apblett My Husband Jim and I recently had the pleasure of finding Julia as our real estate agent in the Collingwood Area. We were not familiar with anyone in the Area and sent emails out to several agents. Julia was one of the first agents to promptly respond to our request. We were on holidays and had one day to meet with her to see a few properties before leaving. She not only made arrangements to meet on this date, she also found us some great properties to look at. Julia found us a ‘diamond in the rough’ property within Lighthouse Point and helped us see the potential in the property and its great location. Through out the process Julia sent us updates, made many inquiries on our behalf and never faltered on promptly returning a call or an email well past the regular 9-5 business day. Julia went above and beyond what was expected of an agent and was able to close the deal on our ‘diamond in the rough’. She emanates a sense of trust-worthiness that makes you feel very secure during what is without a doubt a very involved process. We chose Julia after a Google search of realtors in Collingwood and she was the first to respond to our request for assistance in finding a property. Julia immediately identified our requirements and was very quick to identify suitable properties and to maintain regular contact with us in the UK prior to our Xmas visit to Collingwood for viewings. The inspection visit was very successful mainly because Julia had been able to organize viewings of potential properties in a timely and efficient manner. We were able to purchase a suitable property and she was excellent in explaining the process and supporting us through the different stages of the purchase. As the purchase was progressing, Julia kept us updated and arranged for an inspection of the property by a close family member immediately prior to completion. When we went through the purchase process for our home in Collingwood we found a home and then found that the location was not suited to our needs. We wanted to back out of the deal. Julia did not hesitate even for a second to comply with our wishes. Julia had some tough conversations with the other agent and remained ‘our agent’ with our best interests always in sight. We felt that Julia was always on our side and that we were more important to Julia than ‘just getting a commission’. Julia is a tough negotiator that maintains a bright and friendly tone at all times. A pleasure to work with and should we move from this location, we would not hesitate to employ her again.

My partner and I were looking for a condo in the Collingwood area to use as our "cottage". We were paired with Julia and I'm so happy we were. Julia met all of our needs. We told her what we had in mind, how much we wanted to spend and she spent countless hours helping us find just the right place for us. From the first few places we looked at, Julia knew right away what our tastes were, and when we compared notes after seeing a condo, they were always very similar. Since we are from out of town, she would often look at places for us and let us know whether or not she felt we should make the trip to Collingwood to see them. What a time saver! Even though we weren't spending millions of dollars, Julia made us feel like we were. She treated us as if we were her only priority, was always quick with answers to our questions, and always available to help us. I know our condo shopping wouldn't have gone nearly as well if it weren't for her. Julia is honest, friendly, hardworking and knows the Collingwood and surrounding area well. She helped us find different contractors for work we wanted done, has given us information on fun places to take our 4 year old child, and has been there for us anytime we have needed her. We still remain in contact with Julia, and she is still answering our questions! I would recommend Julia to anyone looking for a trustworthy real estate agent...you won't regret it.

I chose Julia to help us find a condo in Collingwood because she was available. We called her out of the blue one Sunday afternoon and she immediately responded and facilitated the showing of a condo. We found her ability and commitment to being available at all hours and on short notice extremely helpful as my husband and I were only in Canada for a couple weeks and wanted to have a sense of what was available in the Collingwood area. Over the next few months Julia kept us informed of new listings even though we were out of the country and when we finally decided on a unit, she referred us to a lawyer and helped walk us through the purchase transaction.
